Quaker Houghton Rust Veto 201D

RUST VETO 201D is a blend of dearomatised solvent, and carefully selected performance additives which provide up to 6 months indoor protection.
RUST VETO 201 D is a premium quality dewatering rust preventive and exhibits a very thin greasy film, which is self-healing, resists peeling and cracking, neutralizes fingerprints and is easily removed if required.
RUST VETO 201 D is effective on ferrous and non-ferrous metal and is barium free.

RUST VETO 201D provides medium term protection, inter-operational and final protection, on :

o (semi)-finished automotive and machinery components like valves, gears, camshaft, box, bearing, chains, motor, fasteners, braking system, precision components with highly finished surfaces .
o Phosphated or blackened surfaces by filling the micro porosity.
o Finely machined or ground metal surfaces such as valves, rollers and fasteners.

Particularly resisting to carry-over of alkaline grinding coolants, soluble oil emulsions and acidic rinse water atmosphere.

o Economic – Very performing thin film compatible with most of lubricant oil, no need to wash off.
o Economic – Good separation of displaced water, increase bath lifetime, reduce sump clean up frequency
o Operator friendly – dearomatised solvent, No heavy metal such as barium
o Environmentally friendly – Medium flash point which limits evaporation and fire risk
o Quality – Self-healing film which will not crack or flake, resistant to dirt penetration
o Quality – Neutralizing fingerprints in case of accidental bare handling

Product should be stored under cover in clean, dry conditions and protected from frost. Recommended storage temperature is usually between 5°( and 40°( unless otherwise specified. Use stock in delivery rotation.
