Quaker Houghton MWS Additive AF 201
Quaker Houghton MWS Additive AF 201 ADDITIVE anti-foam for water soluble oil and cleaners
MWS ADDITIVE AF 201 is an efficient anti-foam for emulsions containing oil and and oil-free water solubles as well as cleaners.
Soft water can promote the forming of foam during the machining process with water extendable products. To prevent these foaming characteristics the tap water should be hardened up until 15-20 °dH (equiv 260-350 ppm Ca(Q3 or 25- F), before the water will be mixed with the concentrate.
MWS ADDITIVE AF 201 is an aqueous solution of calcium acetate, with no odour, that acts as a water soluble additive to harden up soft water.
MWS ADDITIVE AF 201 is used by adding to fluids where foaming difficulties occur. MWS ADDITIVE AF 201 may be added to new systems or to existing fluids. It should be added at a point of agitation in the system to aid dispersion (but obviously not close from filtering system).
