Quaker Houghton Houghto-Clean 601 (Formerly SPRAY WASH 15) Aqueous Acid Cleaner
HOUGHTO-CLEAN 601 is an organic acid based cleaning formulation formulated to remove oxides, scale and salt deposits from metallic and non-metallic substrates as part of manufacturing and maintenance applications
HOUGHTO-CLEAN 601 will remove light rust, metallic oxides, water scale and light oils from metallic and non-metallic substrates and is particularly suited for cleaning some stainless steel alloys.
HOUGHTO-CLEAN 601 can be applied by both spray, immersion and manual techniques.
o No strong smelling and corrosive mineral acid odours
o Multi functional applications for reduced product inventory
o Capable of removing both organic and inorganic debris
o Good foam control for spray wash applications

- Specific Gravity – 1. 14
- pH in Use – Typically 2 – 2.5
Temperature = 20 to 60°(
Concentration= 1 -5% v/v spray wash
Concentration= 5 – 50% v/v immersion
Concentration= as required for manual applications

STORAGE
Please refer to section 7 of Safety Data Sheets for handling and storage information, including product shelf life. Product should be stored under cover in clean, dry conditions and protected from frost Recommended storage temperature is usually between 5°C and 40°( unless otherwise specified. Use stock in delivery rotation.
