Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/8
Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/8 A water-mix metalworking fluid designed for the machining of high order steels & alloys
Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/8 is a high performance, long life metalworking coolant with EP properties. It is highly suitable for medium to heavy duty metal cutting operations on a variety of materials including Stainless and High Chromium Steels and Nimonic alloys which have typically utilised neat oils for the more arduous machining operations such as deep hole drilling and tapping. Although water-based,AQUACUT 9/8 with its blend of surface active and hydrodynamic lubrication additives provides a true and effective alternative to the use of neat oils.
AQUACUT 9/8 provides a clean working environment and long sump life due to its modern stable formulation which also provides excellent foam resistance whilst producing no soapy deposits. These features improve the operator working environment and remove the need for ‘post machining cleaning’ operations.
Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/8 is particularly suitable for high stock removal Turning & Milling, Deep Hole Boring, Screw Cutting, Reaming, Gear Cutting, Broaching. AQUACUT 9/8 is also highly effective for use with aluminium and all grades of steel on a variety of heavy stock removal machining operations.
