Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/7
Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/7 A low foaming water-mix metalworking fluid for the machining of higher order steels & alloys
Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/7 is a moderate oil content, chlorine-free blend of surface active and hydrodynamic lubrication additives, providing an effective alternative to the use of neat oils when machining resistant materials such as high chromium and nickel steels, nimonic alloys and all grades of aluminium on arduous machining operations such as heavy stock removal machining, drilling, tapping and broaching.
AQUACUT 9/7 provides a clean working environment and long sump life due to its modern stable formulation and has been specifically formulated to provide the highest degree of foam resistance when used in high volume coolant delivery systems especially in soft water areas. These features improve the operator working environment and remove the need for ‘post machining cleaning’ operations, as is the case with neat cutting oils.
Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/7 is a mineral oil based cutting fluid, with a boron amine package. It suits well for machining of cast iron, steel and yellow metals as well as aluminium alloys containing up to 18% silicium. High stock removal turning & milling, deep hole drilling & boring, screw cutting, reaming, gear cutting, broaching.
