Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/2
Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/2 A water-mix metalworking fluid designed for general purpose machining
Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/2 is an extremely versatile metalworking fluid. Although not designed as an ‘extreme pressure’ type fluid it does provide machining capabilities way beyond those normally associated with fluids which do not contain EP additives AQUACUT 9/2 is therefore suitable for a variety of general to severe operations including milling, drilling, turning, threading and grinding, especially segmental grinding.
Materials with widely differing machining characteristics can be successfully processed including cast iron, high performance nickel steels, aluminium, stainless steel and also hard plastics and nylon.
AQUACUT 9/2 is ideal for difficult machining including boring and tapping on aluminum and its alloys, and critical machining operations on alloy steels. It is specifically formulated for use on new CNC machines with high flow and pressure.
Long life properties of AQUACUT 9/2 makes the product suitable for centralized systems and individual machines. The innovative chemistry without boron and formaldehyde releaser extends life of the emulsion without the need for regular biocide treatments.
Quaker Houghton Aquacut 9/2 is suitable for medium to hard make-up water.
