Castrol Tribol GR TG 2 Fully Synthetic High-Temperature Greases
Castrol Tribo GR TG 2 (previously called Thermogrease™ Range) is black, fully synthetic high-temperature grease for the lubrication of rolling and sliding bearings.
Extraordinarily high load-carrying capacity due to solids.
- Rolling and sliding bearings are subjected to high pressures and temperatures.
- Fan bearings of textile machines.
- Bearings of heated calenders and drying cylinders.

- Please observe the specifications of the bearing manufacturers.
- Tribol GR TG 2 is not to be mixed with other greases.
- Thoroughly clean the bearings before introducing the initial fill.
- Fill bearing housing only about half full with grease.

Before using the product, the vehicle’s maintenance guide should be checked. The product should not be stored at temperatures over 60°C. It should be kept away from sunlight, intense cold and extreme temperature fluctuations. If possible, the packaging should not be exposed to the elements. Otherwise, the drums should be laid horizontally to avoid any contamination from water and to prevent the product’s label from rubbing off.
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
