Quartz Ineo Xtra EC6 0W-20 meets the latest ACEA C6 standard, and API SP (RC) performance standard, providing protection against LSPI (Low Speed Pre-ignition), a phenomenon in some ways similar to knock and which can damage the engine. Today car manufacturers develop engines which are smaller, run at a lower speed, and still deliver the same power therefore developing higher power density that favours LSPI events.

This product is recommended for use in all engines used in Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles requiring the approval STJLR.03.5006. Quartz Ineo Xtra EC6 0W-20 is also recommended for use in vehicles that require the following specifications: MB-Approval 229.72; OV 040 1547 – A20; Ford WSS-M2C947-B1.

Before using the product, the vehicle’s maintenance guide should be checked. The product should not be stored at temperatures over 60°C. It should be kept away from sunlight, intense cold and extreme temperature fluctuations. If possible, the packaging should not be exposed to the elements. Otherwise, the drums should be laid horizontally to avoid any contamination from water and to prevent the product’s label from rubbing off.

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
