Total Nevastane XSH 220 Synthetic (PAO) Gear Oil, Suitable for Incidental Food Contact
- NEVASTANE XSH oils (grades 150 to 460) are recommended for the lubrication of gear reducers, plains, and roller bearings with high loads in the food processing industries.
- NEVASTANE XSH 150 to 460 oils are also suitable for the lubrication of numerous applications in the food industry such as chains and conveyor belts.
- NEVASTANE XSH formulation, 100% synthetic, based on PAO, provides superior protection and longer service life to the lubricated equipment.

Before using the product, the vehicle’s maintenance guide should be checked. The product should not be stored at temperatures over 60°C. It should be kept away from sunlight, intense cold and extreme temperature fluctuations. If possible, the packaging should not be exposed to the elements. Otherwise, the drums should be laid horizontally to avoid any contamination from water and to prevent the product’s label from rubbing off.
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
