Total Equivis XV 46 High Viscosity Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil
Equivis XV is a range of anti-wear hydraulic fluids recommended for all kinds of hydraulic circuits operating within a very wide temperature range.
Their excellent viscosimetric properties and their high shear resistance make the oils especially suitable for use in mobile machines hydraulic systems intended for cold regions or which have to work in low-temperature environments such as cold stores.
Total Equivis XV 46 High Viscosity Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil Product Advantages:
- Very high viscosity index (VI > 250).
- Very high shear stability to ensure proper working of the hydraulic system in a very wide temperature range even under extreme shear rate conditions.
- Easy low-temperature operation due to a very low pour point and exceptional viscosimetric behaviour.
- High protection against wear ensuring maximum equipment life.
- Superior thermal and hydrolysis stability.
- Good oxidation stability ensures a long service life of the fluid
- Excellent protection against rust and corrosion.
- Good anti-foam, air release and demulsibility properties.
- Good behaviour towards current elastomers.

Before using the product, the vehicle’s maintenance guide should be checked. Oil changes should be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. The product should not be stored at temperatures over 60°C. It should be kept away from sunlight, intense cold and extreme temperature fluctuations. If possible, the packaging should not be exposed to the elements. Otherwise, the drums should be laid horizontally in order to avoid any contamination from water and to prevent the product’s label from rubbing off.
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
