Total Equivis AF 46 High Viscosity Hydraulic Oil
Total EQUIVIS AF 46 is a “zinc-free” high-performance hydraulic fluid for:
- All types of hydraulic circuits. Hydraulic pumps and presses. Mobile & industrial hydraulic systems.
- Hydraulic systems operating under high pressure and/or high-temperature conditions.
- Sensitive hydraulic circuits require perfect fluid filterability and circuit cleanliness.
- Limited deposit formation thanks to its selective chemistry.
- Lubrication of circuits in various heavy industrial sectors such as mining, steel, agriculture, food industries, etc.
- Any application where a high-performance, antiwear, zinc-free hydraulic oil is required.
Total Equivis AF 46 High Viscosity Hydraulic Oil Product Advantages:
- Very high viscosity index and shear stability for a wide range of operating
temperature. - Superior thermal stability avoids the formation of sludge even at high
temperature. - Very good oxidation stability ensures a long service life of the fluid.
- High protection against wear, rust and corrosion ensuring maximum equipment
life. - Excellent hydrolytic stability avoiding filter blocking.
- Remarkable filterability even in the presence of water.
- Good anti-foam and air release properties by using silicon-free components.
- Low pour point.
- Good demulsibility ensures rapid water separation.
- EQUIVIS AF does not contain heavy metals or zinc to avoid contributing to their
accumulation in the environment.

MANUFACTURERS SPECIFICATIONS
Before using the product, the vehicle’s maintenance guide should be checked. Oil changes should be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. The product should not be stored at temperatures over 60°C. It should be kept away from sunlight, intense cold and extreme temperature fluctuations. If possible, the packaging should not be exposed to the elements. Otherwise, the drums should be laid horizontally in order to avoid any contamination from water and to prevent the product’s label from rubbing off.
All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and damage to drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
