Lubric8 Cut Syn 240

Lubric8 Cut Syn 240 is a low viscosity, high flash point, odourless cutting fluid giving excellent electrode service life with good flushing and fines settlement characteristics. This high quality lubricant is pale in colour to allow good workpiece visibility.

Cut Syn 240 has been specially developed to minimise the formation of deposits and discolouration to provide a long, stable fluid life.

Lubric8 Cut Syn 240 is suitable for spark erosion and wire erosion machining operations such as fine cutting, roughing, and shaping. The very low aromatic content is in line with current health and safety requirements, and the low volatility and resistance to fuming, together with the high flash point and reduced fire risk, provide increased operator acceptability when compared to alternative products based on industrial kerosene. Cut Syn 240 can be used to top up systems filled with conventional odourless kerosene-based EDM fluids.

Charmilles, Cincinatti, Easco, Excello and Ingersol machines

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable, drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and the obliteration of drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60°C or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
