Houghton Houghto-Clean 130 Aqueous Alkaline Spray Wash Cleaner
HOUGHTD-CLEAN 130 is a low alkalinity caustic free cleaner formulated for inter-operational and final cleaning of ferrous components.
HOUGHTO-CLEAN 130 has been formulated for usage by spray wash application and is capable of removing light oils, soluble machining fluids and general machining and manufacturing debris.
HOUGHTO-CLEAN 130 is applied mainly by spray wash but can also be used within mechanical deburring operations and some immersion cleaning applications.
o Provides good inter-operational corrosion inhibition
o For some applications can be applied at ambient temperatures
o Does not leave white powdery residues when diluted with soft to medium hardness water
o Multifunctional reducing product inventory
o Low pH easier treatment of used solutions
- Appearance – Clear pale yellow liquid
- Specific Gravity – 1.03
- pH in Use – Typically 9
- Refractometer Factor – 3.6
Temperature = ambient to 80°C
Concentration= 2 -5% v/v spray wash
Concentration= 2 -3% mechanical deburring Concentration= up to 10% v/v immersion

STORAGE
Please refer to section 7 of Safety Data Sheets for handling and storage information, including product shelf life. Product should be stored under cover in clean, dry conditions and protected from frost Recommended storage temperature is usually between 5°C and 40°C unless otherwise specified. Use stock in delivery rotation.
