Castrol TLX Xtra 404

Castrol TLX Xtra is a range of high-performance engine oil to withstand high oil stress conditions seen in the latest engine designs which have reduced oil capacity and consumption. It is suitable for operating with a wide range of fuel types HSFO, VLSFO, ULSFO and dual-fuel LNG applications.

Castrol TLX Xtra 404 has been developed for use in medium-speed engines for marine propulsion and power generation applications. TLX Xtra is available with 20, 30, 40 and 50 or 55 BN, and SAE 30 and 40 viscosity grades to suit engine builders’ requirements and fuel variation. It is also suitable for diesel engines fitted with the latest emission reduction technology and after-treatment systems.

The TLX Xtra range of oils holds approvals or letters of no objection from MAN, MAK, Wartsila, Daihatsu, Yanmar and Hyundai HIMSEN medium-speed engine manufacturers.

Storage:

All packages should be stored under cover. Where outside storage is unavoidable drums should be laid horizontally to avoid the possible ingress of water and the obliteration of drum markings. Products should not be stored above 60C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
