Castrol Techniclean 8580 Ferrous Metal Post Quench Cleaner
Castrol Techniclean S 8580 is an aqueous, alkaline industrial cleaner, containing biodegradable surfactants and corrosion inhibitors. It is free of inorganic salts.
Techniclean 8580 has been specifically designed to remove industrial quench oils from ferrous metals and should be used in cleaning systems that have efficient oil removal equipment such as oil skimmers. Its powerful oil-rejecting properties are optimised to ensure a long bath life, particularly with quench oils containing petroleum sulphonates. Techniclean 8580 can also be used in other applications where it effectively removes soluble oils, neat cutting or light-forming oils, thin film corrosion preventives, lubrication oils and general dirt.
