Castrol’s surficant fluid is a non-ionic synthetic alcohol ethoxylate especially developed for soluble metalworking fluids, water-based cleaners and deformation products.
It is optimised for stability and compatibility as an effective tank-side additive for both single sump machines as well as central systems.
It helps improve detergency, reduce chip build-up and help adjust the surface tension of working emulsions.
Castrol Surfactant S 607 can be used in all aqueous systems where system cleanliness is a concern resulting in residues and deposition
Recommended Concentrations:
Castrol Surfactant S 607 should only be used after consultation with Castrol’s Service Representative. Recommended dosage is 0.005% to 0.03%. Overuse can result in increased foaming in the water-based system.
Storage:
To avoid product deterioration, keep the container/drum tightly sealed always. Prevent any frost and water ingress. Store it in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. It is preferable to store the product indoors always. For more details, please refer the product safety data sheet.
