Castrol Radicool Premix
VISCOSITY - Maintenance & Repair
Ready to use summer coolant and antifreeze.
Castrol Radicool Premix is a ready to use engine coolant that requires no customer dilution therefore ensures the correct concentration is always used. Castrol Radicool Premix provides year round protection against corrosion, and offers freezing protection down to -36°C. For optimum performance this product should be replaced after 1 year.
Castrol Radicool Premix can be used in both petrol and diesel engines with aluminum or cast iron engines. In the majority of cases, coolants are not compatible and should not be mixed with other coolants unless directed by the equipment manufacturer. If using Castrol Radicool Premix for the first time, ensure that the cooling system has been adequately flushed with clean water before use.
Castrol Radicool Premix is a mixture of monoethyleneglycol, purified water and selected chemical agents. It contains no nitrites, amines or phosphates. Castrol Radicool Premix provides –
- Protection against hard water
- Effective engine cooling without boiling;
- Protection against corrosion of the alloys used in the cooling system of modern vehicles;
- Compatibility with conventional seal and hose materials used in engine cooling systems;
- Protection against cavitation corrosion
- Efficient lubrication of water pumps
- Contains bittering agent
Castrol Radicool contains no phosphate, therefore the problems of deposits in some modern performance engines are reduced.
