Castrol Optitemp PL 3 Prelubrication Grease
DESCRIPTION
Castrol Optitemp PL 3 is based on lithium soap and mineral base oils, blended with a unique extreme pressure and anti-wear additive package, which has been specifically formulated for compatibility with automotive axle transmission fluids.
APPLICATIONS
Castrol Optitemp PL 3 is approved for use as a first fill grease of bearings mounted in oil-lubricated automotive axle transmissions from AUDI, to ensure proper lubrication during start-up, eliminating premature failures.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Grease Application:
- Fill bearing housing is only about half-full with OPTITEMP PL.
- Follow the specifications of the bearing manufacturers.
- Thoroughly clean the bearing before introducing the initial fill.
- Do not mix with other greases. In case of doubt please consult the Technical Service of Castrol Industry GmbH as to the compatibility with competitive products.
Storage:
All packages should be stored under cover. Products should not be stored above 60°C, or exposed to hot sun or freezing conditions.
