Houghton Fenella Oil F 3202 G - Graphited Oil Hot Forging Release Agent - gf/125

Houghton Fenella Oil F 3202 G - Graphited Oil Hot Forging Release Agent - gf/12509

FENELLA OIL F 3202 G is a multipurpose oiVgraphite lubricant based on high purity colloidal graphite.

Applications:

FENELLA OIL F 3202 G is a highly stable dispersion of pure ultrafine graphite in mineral oil designed to be used undiluted for hot metalworking operations.

It can be used:

  • In hot forging operations for ferrous & non-ferrous alloys on presses (brass forgings) or hammers (steel forgings).
  • In high pressure die casting as a plunger lubricant.
  • In glass moulding industry as a release agent between moulds (T=530°C) & hot glass (T=1100°C).

FENELLA OIL F 3202 G shows high adhesion properties at high temperatures and forms on the die a film with superior release and lubricating properties due to its selected graphite (size & crystalline parameters). The film provides a very good metal flow during deformation at high temperatures.

Advantages:

  • Reduces costs - low graphite content reduces cleaning of parts.
  • Reduces costs - excellent lubricity, reduces scrap, promotes long die life.
  • Reduces staining - compatible with yellow metals.

Pack sizes available - 209ltr barrels, 20ltr drums, 1000ltr IBC's

Houghton Fenella Oil F 3627 G - Graphited Oil Hot Forging Release Agent - gf/125

Houghton Fenella Oil F 3627 G - Graphited Oil Hot Forging Release Agent - gf/12510

FENELLA OIL F 3627 G is a lubricant/release-agent based on high graphite content dispersed in mineral oil.

Applications:

FENELLA OIL F 3627 G has been developed as a multi-purpose liquid lubricant for all kinds of alloys such as steel, aluminium, titanium, and copper on all types of forging machines (presses, hammers).

A recommended forging operation with FENELLA OIL F 3627 G is the hot extrusion of steel tubes. FENELLA OIL F 3627 G has been developed for application by spraying but it is possible to apply by brushing.

Advantages:

  • Reduces costs - high graphite content gives long die life, excellent lubricity and metal flow, reduces pick-up in the dies reducing scrap.
  • Reduces inventory - suitable for difficult forgings on a wide range of materials.

Houghton Fenella Oil F 404.01 G - Graphited Oil Hot Forging Release Agent - gf/1

Houghton Fenella Oil F 404.01 G - Graphited Oil Hot Forging Release Agent - gf/12511

FENELLA OIL F 404.01 G is a lubricant/release-agent based on high graphite content dispersed in mineral oil.

Applications:

FENELLA OIL F 404.01 G is a mineral oil-based lubricant with a high graphite content.

FENELLA OIL F 404.01 G has been developed as a multi-purpose liquid lubricant for all kinds of alloys such as steel, aluminum, titanium and copper.

FENELLA OIL F 404.01 G has been developed for application by spraying but it is possible to apply it by brushing.

FENELLA OIL F 404.01 G can also be diluted in a mineral oil for less severe hot forging operations. Graphite quantity is reduced for less residue on tools, and better die filling.

Advantages:

  • Reduces costs - high graphite content gives long die life, excellent lubricity and metal flow, reduces pick in the dies reducing scrap.
  • Reduces inventory - suitable for difficult forgings on a wide range of materials.

Pack sizes available - 209ltr barrels, 20ltr drums, 1000ltr IBC's

Houghton Fenella Oil F 405 G - Graphited Oil Hot Forging Release Agent - gf/1251

Houghton Fenella Oil F 405 G - Graphited Oil Hot Forging Release Agent - gf/12512

FENELLA OIL F 405 G is a lubricant/release-agent based on colloidal graphite dispersed in mineral oil.

Applications:

FENELLA OIL F 405 G is a highly stable dispersion of pure ultra-fine graphite in mineral oil designed to be used undiluted for severe operations such as:

  • Hot forging operations with copper alloys (mainly brass) on presses or steel alloys on hammers.
  • High pressure die casting operations for plunger lubrication FENELLA OIL F 405 G forms a thin film on the dies or plungers with superior release and lubricating properties, which provides a good metal flow during deformation at high temperatures: no residual film is left on the die.

The product is protected against settling out.

Advantages:

  • Reduces costs - low graphite content reduces cleaning of parts.
  • Reduces costs - excellent lubricity, reduces scrap, promotes long die life.
  • Reduces staining - compatible with yellow metals.
