Applications

Autran MBX is recommended for most power shift transmissions, power steering and hydraulic units.
Do NOT use where Type F, MERCON® V, MERCON® SP or DEXRON® VI fluids are required. Autran MBX is also recommended for use in the automatic transmissions and power steering fitted to many other types of vehicle, including later Fords where fluid to ESP-M2C166-H or SQM-2C9010-A is specified.
Also for semiautomatic transmissions where a Leyland spec E fluid is specified.

Applications

Energear SHX-M is a fully synthetic, multi –purpose heavy duty automotive gear lubricant for use in complete driveline applications requiring either API GL-4 or GL-5 performance.

Oil temperatures should not exceed 120 °C. In any system that incorporates electric heaters for effecting rapid warm-up, it is important to avoid high rates of heat input. Description
These oils are formulated from highly refined mineral base oils, and incorporate additives that minimize oxidation, deposit-formation, foaming and filter-blocking.
Furthermore, they enhance load-carrying and antiwear properties and combat the effects of water contamination and prevent corrosion.

 

Applications

Energol RC-R grades are ashless oils recommended for the lubrication of rotors, bearings and gears in rotary compressors, especially the oil-flooded screw type with delivery temperatures of up to 120 °C. Under these conditions it is important that the oil maintains its high lubrication performance. The grades in this range are suitable for both static and mobile systems, operating at ambient temperatures ranging from -25 °C to 50°C. Most rotary applications call for ISO 32 or ISO 46 grades and the higher-viscosities ISO 68 and 100 may be used satisfactorily in reciprocating compressors.

Description
Energrease HTG 2 is a non melting grease for the lubrication of bearings at high temperatures. It has no drop point.
This grease is based on an oxidation resistant, thermally stable base oil and an inorganic thickener.

 

Applications

Description
Transcal LT is a high quality mineral oil combining low vapour pressure, and high levels of thermal stability, specific
heat and thermal conductivity with exceptional low temperature fluidity.

 

Applications
Transcal LT is recommended primarily for non pressurized closed liquid-phase heating systems that incorporate both heating and cooling branches (as, for example, where an exothermic or heat releasing reaction takes place).
The low temperature fluidity ensures that adequate circulation occurs in the coolest parts of the circuit.
The maximum recommended bulk-fluid temperature for Transcal LT is 250 °C, and the fluid also operates effectively in cooling systems down to bulk temperatures of -30 °C.
Before being commissioned, the system should be pressure tested for leaks and then thoroughly flushed with Transcal LT.
Water should never be used.
With the system flushed and drained, it should be filled with fresh Transcal LT. All air must be completely vented from the system before full temperature is imposed. For maximum efficiency, the heat transfer fluid should be circulated in conditions of turbulent flow. Care must be taken to ensure that bulk fluid temperature does not exceed 250 °C, as this could lead to degradation of the oil. Despite the excellent oxidation stability of Transcal LT various precautions must be taken to minimize exposure to air, especially if the temperature of the fluid in the expansion chamber exceeds 50 °C. A floating cover can be provided, or the oil can be blanketed with inert gas.

Description
The Energol LPT grades are refrigeration compressor lubricants formulated from highly refined naphtenic base oils for use in both large industrial and small domestic refrigeration units.

 

Applications
The Energol LPT range is formulated to function as lubricants, coolants as well as sealants in refrigerating compressors. Description
Energol TH-HT is a range of industrial turbine lubricants, formulated from highly refined, mineral base oils and a selection of (ashless) performance additives.
The inherent oxidation resistance of these oils is further enhanced through the inclusion of an oxidation inhibitor.
Other additives in the oils ensure good protection against corrosion, suppression of foaming, enhanced water separation and load –carrying characteristics.

 

Applications

Applications
Energol WM oils are used for machine lubrication where, for reasons of hygiene, there is a possibility of contact with foodstuffs, medicines or cosmetics.

Applications
The Enersyn LPS lubricants possess physical and chemical properties that are highly suited to modern refrigeration equipment. They are recommended for the reciprocating and rotary screw compressors employed in industrial refrigeration systems.

These grades are superior to conventional mineral oil refrigerator lubricants where evaporation temperatures are low (from -60 °C down to -100 °C) and where the refrigerants are of the critical fluorocarbon type (R13, R22 and R502).

Description
A range of premium synthetic (non-mineral) lubricants, based on polyalpha-olefin materials.
The lubricants are fully formulated, and contain anti-wear additives to enhance lubrication, anti-oxidants to minimize oxidation and the formation of deposits, and corrosion inhibitors to control the effects of moisture contamination.

 

Applications
These lubricants have been designed to provide a high level of performance in air compressors working in severe conditions of duty.

The ISO 32 grade is recommended for rotary-screw compressors, and the ISO 68 grade for rotary-vane type.

With their low carbon-formation tendencies and high oxidation resistance, they can also be used in circulatory systems of plain and rolling bearings operating at high temperatures - as in paper-making machinery.

Enersyn RC-S lubricants fully meet the currently defined requirements of the ISO-L-DAH classification for rotary-screw compressor mineral oils, and show excellent oxidation resistance, as assessed by a rotary-compressor oxidation test (ROCOT) drawn from a modified Pneurop oxidation test using Iron Naphthenate catalyst at 120 °C for 1000 hours. Although oxidation test limits of the ISO-LDAC/ G/H/J specifications have not yet been defined, and the ROCOT tests are indicative of high stability, particularly bearing in mind the long hours run. The best evidence for the excellent oxidation stability of the Enersyn RC-S lubricants and their overall high performance is the entirely satisfactory results of service trials carried out using rotary-screw compressors operating in severe conditions (120 °C) for over 4000 hours with no change of lubricant.

Energol OGL series are advanced technology open gear lubricants incorporating both extreme pressure additives and finely dispersed graphite for load carrying.
