Cut-Max HO5 is a very low viscosity chlorine-free neat oil formulated from specially selected refined mineral oils, blended with polar compounds and lubricity additives.

 

Application:

Cut-Max HO5 is multi-functional oil suitable for honing of steel and cast iron with all types of tooling. Cut-Max HO5 is used by automotive engine and transmission plants for honing of crankshafts, camshafts, cylinders bores and planetary gears. Cut-Max HO5 can also used for grinding and super finishing of bearing rings.

Cut-Max HO5 is used neat. It is advisable to clean the system prior to use with Houghton GUM SOLVENT GSC to remove any lacquers and deposits.

Dascolene 888 is a chlorine free heavy duty cutting oil for all metal cutting operations on aluminium. It can also be used for non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass and other alloys. Tube Lubricant CR51H is one of a range of high lubricity oils for the cold reduction of steel tubes. They are viscous oils based upon extreme pressure additives and high lubricity agents.

 

Application:

Tube Lubricant CR51H can be used for difficult applications such as stainless steel tube expansions and reductions.

The internal lubrication of the mandrel as well as the external die lubrication can be effectively achieved using products from the Tube Lubricant CR range. The full range of the hardest steels, including stainless, nimonics and the more exotic alloys used in the aerospace and nuclear industries, will benefit from the use of these lubricants.

Tube Lubricant CR51H can be applied by pump, brush, swab or roller and is readily removed by normal solvent degreasing techniques. Hot alkali cleaners such as Houghto-Clean Plus 280 can also be used, particularly where pressure washing equipment is available.

To prevent risk of staining it recommended that lubricant is removed prior to annealing.

FENELLA OIL F 3202 G is a multipurpose oiVgraphite lubricant based on high purity colloidal graphite.

 

Applications:

FENELLA OIL F 3202 G is a highly stable dispersion of pure ultrafine graphite in mineral oil designed to be used undiluted for hot metalworking operations.

It can be used:

  • In hot forging operations for ferrous & non-ferrous alloys on presses (brass forgings) or hammers (steel forgings).
  • In high pressure die casting as a plunger lubricant.
  • In glass moulding industry as a release agent between moulds (T=530°C) & hot glass (T=1100°C).

FENELLA OIL F 3202 G shows high adhesion properties at high temperatures and forms on the die a film with superior release and lubricating properties due to its selected graphite (size & crystalline parameters). The film provides a very good metal flow during deformation at high temperatures.

FENELLA VLB 3204 is based on high purity solvent with low aromatic content. The additives are selected to provide high lubricity in combination with low residue after evaporation.

FENELLA VLB 3204 is free from Chlorine, Sulphur, Phosphorous and heavy metals (Zinc).

 

Applications:

FENELLA VLB 3204 is a volatile product for stamping and drawing of thin non ferrous and ferrous materials. Main application is laminator blanking.
