Application:

Dascolene 866A is a heavy duty neat cutting oil which has been designed to combine economy with high performance in severe cutting operations. Dascolene 866A is recommended for applications including heavy duty turning, gear hobbing and horizontal broaching operations. Dascolene 866A is based on a blend of highly refined mineral oils, chlorinated and active sulphur based EP additives. It also contains anti-mist additive.

Recommendations for use: Dascolene 866A is designed to be used as supplied. Dascolene 866A should NOT be used to machine “yellow” metals such as copper and brass etc., due to its potential for staining such metals.
